WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results – May 22, 2020

Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler vs. Mandy Rose and Otis

We go back to the ring and out first comes Sonya Deville. Dolph Ziggler is out next and they head to the ring together. Mandy Rose is out first for her team. Out last comes Otis with his Money In the Bank briefcase. Otis and Mandy head to the ring together. The two sides have words before the bell.

Rose starts off with Deville but before they can go at it, Otis and Ziggler come in. Ziggler goes for the leg but Otis tosses him away. Ziggler comes back and Otis scoops him, then spins him around for a slam. Otis with a running splash in the corner. Otis dances around as Ziggler rolls to the ropes for a breather. Deville tags in and in comes Rose. Deville rams Rose back into the corner and hits her with shoulder thrusts. Deville manhandles Rose in the corner some. Rose comes out and tackles Deville with strikes. Otis and Ziggler end up going at it on the floor. Ziggler sends Otis into the steel steps.

Rose goes right to the floor to check on Otis while he’s down, clutching his shoulder. We go to commercial with Otis and Mandy on the outside.

Back from the break and Deville is manhandling Rose on the mat. Otis is still down on the floor, clutching his shoulder. Deville taunts Rose and sends her back into the corner for right hands. Rose rocks Deville and fights her way out, rolling Deville for a quick 1 count. Deville comes right back and drops Rose. Otis is back on the apron now. Deville taunts Otis while working Rose over in the middle of the ring. Otis tries to rally Rose for a tag.

Rose with a jawbreaker to Deville. Deville stops her from tagging. Deville with a big kick to Rose to taunt Otis. Deville with more big kicks while Rose is on her knees. More back and forth now as Rose finally gets an opening. Ziggler and Otis reach for tags as the referee counts. Deville gets up first but Rose kicks her away. Otis tags in as does Ziggler.

Otis strikes first and drives Ziggler into the mat, then the corner. Ziggler rocks Otis back but Otis smashes him in the corner. Otis with a running splash in the corner and Ziggler goes down. Otis dances around but doesn’t capitalize as Deville tags in. Rose has to come in but she nails clotheslines to Deville. Rose unloads as Otis decks Ziggler on the outside and beats him around. Rose with more offense on Deville for a close 2 count. Otis and Ziggler continue brawling on the floor. Deville blocks the double underhook from Rose and rocks her with a knee. Ziggler holds Otis back from coming in to make the save. Deville goes on and nails another knee to the back of the head for the pin to win.

Winners: Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler

After the bell, Otis comes in to check on Rose as Deville makes her exit. Ziggler runs in and superkicks Otis in the face while he’s tending to Rose. We go to replays. Ziggler and Deville back up the ramp together while taunting Otis and Rose.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results – May 8, 2020

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX opens up with Mandy Rose getting ready in the back. Otis walks up and asks what he can do to help. Mandy has been ready for this match and she’s ready. She tells Otis to focus on Money In the Bank and she will take care of Sonya Deville. Rose and Otis kiss before she walks off. The camera cuts backstage to Deville warming up. Dolph Ziggler walks up and she talks about how she’s been ready. Ziggler says he will be waiting here for her. He asks her to take it easy on Rose’s face for him. She can’t make any promises. Deville walks off.

Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville

We go to the ring for tonight’s opener as Mandy Rose makes her way out. Michael Cole welcomes us to SmackDown. He’s joined by Corey Graves. They go over the Rose vs. Sonya Deville feud. Deville is out next as Greg Hamilton does the introductions.

The bell rings and they go at it. Rose unloads and beats Deville down in the corner. The referee tries to get her to back off. Rose keeps the offense going but has some trouble with her knee. Deville takes advantage but Rose drops her and keeps the offense coming. Deville retreats to the floor for a breather. Rose yells at her to come back in. Deville comes back to the apron and Rose runs into a kick. Deville comes back into the ring with a knee. Deville with a running knee for a close 2 count. Deville talks some trash and keeps Rose down, taunting her.

Deville manhandles Rose some, slamming her back to the mat for a bodyscissors while talking trash to her face. Deville looks to rip Rose’s lashes off. Deville keeps the trash talking and shots coming while on the mat. Deville goes on about how she’s going to hurt her former friend and partner. Deville with another kick. Deville runs the ropes but Rose clotheslines her, and again. Rose with a running knee to knock Deville out to the floor. Rose follows and slams Deville’s face into the announce table, calling her a b—h. Rose slams Deville face-first into the steel steps as the referee counts. Rose launches Deville into the steps.

Rose launches Deville over the announce table as Grave and Cole quickly move out of the way. Rose keeps talking trash as she brings Deville back into the ring. Rose yells at Deville to get back up and fight. Rose goes for the double underhook but it’s blocked. Deville blocks a knee and rolls Rose up for the pin out of nowhere.

Winner: Sonya Deville

After the match, Rose is shocked as the music hits. Deville quickly retreats to the stage and starts laughing as Rose looks on from the ring. They stare each other down.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results – May 1, 2020

Kayla Braxton is backstage with Otis and Mandy Rose. She mentions their Money In the Bank qualifying matches tonight. Otis says he beat Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania 36 and will do it again tonight, this is just the beginning. Otis says he will win the MITB briefcase and so will his beautiful peach. Rose also talks about facing Carmella and what’s happened to her friendship with Sonya Deville. Rose says what happened with Deville did hurt her but she’s looking forward, not back. Carmella is a former champion and briefcase holder but she says Carmella has another thing coming if she thinks she can just moonwalk all over Rose. Rose is confident about she and Otis winning the briefcases because the risk is worth the reward. But first thing’s first, she’s got this win tonight. She kisses Otis on the cheek and walks off, leaving Otis stunned.

Money In the Bank Qualifying Match: Carmella vs. Mandy Rose

We go to the ring for the final women’s Money In the Bank qualifying match as Carmella makes her way out. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and out comes Mandy Rose as we see the briefcase hanging above the ring. The bell rings and they lock up. Rose takes control on the mat first. Rose shows her up some and gets to her feet. Carmella fights back from the mat and shows off with a moonwalk. They lock up again and go at it. they run the ropes and Carmella nails a big kick to the face while Rose is sitting on the mat. Carmella grounds Rose now.

Rose turns it around and slams Carmella for a 2 count. Rose grounds Carmella in the middle of the ring now. The music hits and out comes Sonya Deville with a mic. She speaks from the stage as they go at it in the ring. Deville continues to try and distract Rose, reminding her that she gave Rose her MITB spot last year. Rose keeps fighting Carmella but looks to be getting distracted.

Rose works Carmella over in the corner. Carmella drops Rose as Deville continues to taunt Rose from the stage, eating her imaginary popcorn. Carmella turns it around and takes Rose to the corner, then to the mat. Deville says she’s tired of just watching. She threatens to go to the ring as Rose levels Carmella with a big strike in the middle of the ring. Deville keeps ranting, telling Rose that karma is a b—h, b—h, so bring it on. This leads to Carmella dropping Rose for the pin to win and qualify.

Winner: Carmella

After the match, Carmella celebrates as her music hits. Rose is slow to recover. Deville runs to the ring and attacks Rose as the referee warns her. Deville talks trash, telling Rose she will never be as good as her. Deville takes it to the floor and continues to destroy Rose, sending her into the barrier and then the steel steps. Deville charges and rams Rose against the steps with a running knee to the back of the head. Deville backs up against the barrier and looks on a bit crazy. Cole says Deville has snapped. WWE officials run down to check on Rose. Deville backs up the ramp and says she’s done. We go to replays. Deville tries to run back down but the referee holds her back. Deville continues to yell out about how she will ruin Rose’s life.

Back from the break and Otis is with Mandy Rose and a trainer. The medic checks Rose out and she says she will be alright. The trainer needs a few more minutes with Rose and Otis heads off. Dolph Ziggler approaches him and asks how Mandy is doing. Otis just stares at Ziggler, breathing heavy.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results – April 17, 2020

We get a video package on what’s happened between Otis, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville and Dolph Ziggler as of late. Rose and Deville will try to clear the air tonight.

Back from the break and Sonya Deville comes to the ring. Deville takes the mic and says she’s been trying to get in touch with Mandy Rose for two weeks now. Rose isn’t taking her calls or responding to texts and all she knew to do was come out here on SmackDown. Deville asks Rose to come to the ring so they can make things right.

Deville asks please but Rose isn’t coming out. Deville says she’s never had someone like Rose in her life, from day 1, Tough Enough, and everything else, she’s always been there with her, together as Fire & Desire. She even went to the wedding of Deville’s sister. Deville asks Rose to come out so she can tell her what she’s always wanted to… the music interrupts and out comes Rose.

Rose says she has nothing to say to Deville after what she did to she and Otis. Deville says she’s spent more time with Rose than she has her own family for the past 5 years. Deville says Rose not giving her a chance to explain made her feel less than nothing to Rose. Deville struggles to get it out but finally says Rose is the most… her tune changes and she calls Rose the most selfish human being she’s ever known. Rose is confused. She asks what this has to do with she and Otis. Deville goes on about Rose not getting it. Deville says Fire & Desire was never about them. It was all about Rose. They came out to Rose’s entrance, waved her magazine around, and everything else. Deville says she’s about to gag, something Rose has probably done a lot since she’s been with Otis. Deville goes on about Rose and says the sad part is that Ziggler actually cares about her. Look at Dolph and look at Otis. Deville says yes she helped Ziggler with the relationship, but that was in exchange for Ziggler helping them and she had their eyes on winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania but it never happened. Deville says Rose ruined it. Rose asks how she ruined anything. Deville says she’s glad it’s all on the table now because she want’s nothing but to see Rose hurt. She calls Rose a bottom of the barrel bottled blonde who looks like she was created in a lab. Deville hates that she wasted years being second best to eye candy with no talent. Rose just listens and stares at Deville.

Deville tells Barbie to listen carefully. She knows Rose better than anyone else in the world and she will use every ounce of her being to ruin Mandy’s life and then everyone will realize the true champ and fighter of Fire & Desire, not some centerfold b—h. Deville drops the mic. Rose is glad she slapped Deville at WrestleMania 36. Ziggler’s music hits and out he comes to tell them to calm down. Ziggler says they went about this the wrong way and did the wrong thing but Mandy can’t fake what happened between he and her. He will do whatever it takes to make it up. Ziggler tells Rose to look him in the eye and say she doesn’t feel anything for him. They stare at each other. Ziggler goes to touch her but she pushes him off, saying don’t touch her. Deville drops Rose out of nowhere with a cheap shot. Ziggler asks why she did that. The music hits and out comes Otis.

Otis goes right for Ziggler and rocks him, sending him to the floor retreating. Deville jumps on Otis’ back and goes for his eyes. Rose pulls her off. Deville retreats and crawls away, joining Ziggler on the ramp. Otis checks on Rose as the two sides look on. Ziggler tries to attack out of nowhere but it backfires and Otis drops him. Otis hits the Caterpillar and a big elbow drop. Otis sends Ziggler to the floor and Deville checks on him, helping him up. Otis’ music hits as he stands with Rose again. Ziggler yells from the ramp and says this isn’t over.

WWE WrestleMania 36 Results – April 5, 2020

Otis vs. Dolph Ziggler

We go back to Michael Cole and 2020 WWE Hall of Famer JBL on commentary. Cole shows us a video package that led to the next match. Dolph Ziggler is out first with Sonya Deville. Otis is out next by himself. He rushes the ring and Ziggler goes out to the floor with Deville.

Otis overpowers Ziggler to start. Otis unloads until Ziggler superkicks Otis, knocking him out to the floor. Ziggler goes out at the 5 count and sends Otis into the ring post. Ziggler brings Otis back in the ring for a 2 count. Ziggler keeps control and slams Otis by a chinlock. Ziggler superkicks Otis but can’t put him away. Ziggler with more offense and a neckbreaker. Ziggler with more offense before grounding Otis in the middle of the ring with a scissors.

Deville cheers Ziggler on from the floor. Otis fights up and out of a hold. Ziggler kicks Otis. Otis catches him and launches him into the second turnbuckle. Otis with more offense. Otis dances around and rocks Ziggler with more strikes. Otis dances on the ropes but turns around to a right hand. Otis levels Ziggler with a pair of clotheslines. Otis scoops Ziggler and slams him in the middle of the ring. Otis stands on Ziggler’s back to keep him from crawling out. Otis whips Ziggler hard into the corner and he goes down. Otis with another big whip into the corner, and a third as Otis continues to dominate.

They go to the floor and Otis launches Ziggler into the barrier. Otis sends Ziggler into the ring post now. Otis brings it back in and hits his version of the Compactor. More back and forth. Deville ends up getting involved. The finish sees Roe come out and slap Deville. Deville gets in the ring and Rose hits a low blow to Ziggler. Otis hits the Caterpillar for the pin to win.

Winner: Otis

After the match, Otis celebrates with Rose, finally getting the kiss from her.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results – April 3, 2020

Back from the break and we see Tucker talking to Mandy Rose backstage. “The Truth Will Be Heard” in big letters appears over the screen. It looks like this could be unrelated to Tucker and Rose, possibly something to do with the recent glitches we’ve seen on SmackDown? Cole says Tucker will face Dolph Ziggler tonight.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Tucker

After the match, Ziggler is all smiles as he stands tall at ringside. Ziggler grabs the other half of the steps and goes to slam them onto Tucker. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville come out to the ramp with Mandy screaming for Ziggler to stop. Otis also runs out. Everyone stops as we see the familiar glitches on the screen as the “Truth Will Be Heard” message pops back on the screen. The big screen now shows a man sitting in a production control room, in front of security cameras. The hooded man turns around but we still can’t see his face. He told us the truth will be heard. Are we paying attention? The man presses a play button and we see security camera video from Valentine’s Day. The video shows Rose and Deville backstage talking about Otis and their date that night. Rose said Otis is big, but he’s super sweet. Deville supports the date. Rose walked out and Deville picks up her phone. We see Deville sending the infamous text message to Otis. We also see Otis receive the text and reply. The security camera feed then shows Deville deleting the texts from Otis. We see Rose in the Performance Center now, looking shocked at Deville. Deville pleads with her. We also see footage of Ziggler and Deville backstage on Valentine’s Day, conspiring together against Rose and Otis’ date to get what they both want. The truth will be heard glitches go off again and the man is gone. Deville begs Mandy to please understand. Rose just looks at everyone and walks up the ramp to the back. Deville follows. Otis chases Ziggler and knocks him down at the bottom of the ramp. Ziggler keeps running away to the back as Otis stares him down, then checks back on Tucker.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown Results – March 6, 2020

Dana Brooke and Carmella vs. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville

We go back to the ring and out first comes Carmella. Dana Brooke is out next. Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose are out next. They pose on the stage until Dolph Ziggler joins them. Deville nods and Rose shrugs in approval. Dolph heads to the ring with Rose and Deville.

Carmella and Rose start things off. Rose takes it to the corner as fans chant for Otis. Carmella ducks a shot and moonwalks. Rose rocks Carmella and takes control. Deville tags in for the double team as Dolph looks on. Deville with a running knee to Carmella for a 2 count. Deville manhandles Carmella and keeps her grounded.

Deville trash talks Carmella while keeping her grounded. They get up and Carmella sends Deville flying with the head scissors. Carmella with a kick and a tag to Brooke. They double team Deville. Brooke kicks Deville in the face and yells out to the crowd. Brooke with more offense, including a dropkick. Ziggler distracts Brooke, allowing Rose to tag in. Brooke doesn’t see this and turns around to a running knee to the face from Rose. Rose covers for the pin to win.

Winners: Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville

After the match, Ziggler joins Rose and Deville in the ring to celebrate as their music hits.

We see Heavy Machinery backstage and fans in the arena pop. Mandy Rose walks by and Tucker wants to handle it but Otis apologizes for what not seeing the text she sent saying she would be late. Rose says it’s a little too late and a woman doesn’t like to be stood up like that. She walks off as Tucker consoles Otis.
