Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose cut a promo at the gorilla position saying that Naomi and Carmella are too inexperienced of a team, and The IIconics are a comedy act. Mandy brings up the Elimination Chamber, and points out that Naomi hasn’t pinned her before.

Carmella & Naomi vs. The IIconics vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville
Mandy avoids Naomi in the opening moments and tags in Billie to escape. Carmella tags in for a double team on Billie, then Mandy tags in and she puts the boots to Carmella. Naomi and Sonya tag in, and Mandy runs away from Naomi. Naomi hits some kicks on Sonya, then Peyton tags in. Naomi takes out both IIconics, then Naomi pulls Mandy in the ring and pummels on her. Peyton comes in and Naomi drops her, but the distraction leads to Mandy hitting a butterfly suplex on Naomi for the three count.

Winners: Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville

After their Triple Threat Match win, Rose & Deville say that their friendship will lead to victory in the Elimination Chamber Match to crown the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville accepted in...
Published by: Staff |   (0) Comments      Read MORE      Filed Under: News, WWE, WWE.com

As first announced by five-time Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss during her Raw talk show “A Moment of Bliss,” the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions will be determined inside the dreaded Elimination Chamber at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on Sunday, Feb. 17.

The contest will feature three teams from Raw and three teams from SmackDown LIVE. Nia Jax & Tamina earned their way into the match with a victory over Bliss & Mickie James on Raw the night after the Royal Rumble event. Later that night, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan joined them in the contest by taking down Natalya & Dana Brooke.

The following night on SmackDown LIVE, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville became the first blue brand team to be officially accepted into the Elimination Chamber. Over the following weekend, The IIconics’ Billie Kay & Peyton Royce tweeted that they had also been accepted into the match.

Despite a pre-match ambush from Alicia Fox & Nikki Cross that sidelined Sasha Banks, Bayley almost single-handedly made sure that she and The Boss overcame their unhinged opponents to become the third and final Raw tandem to earn its way into the nightmarish structure, leaving just one SmackDown spot to be filled.

Prior to SmackDown the following night, Carmella & Naomi announced that they had been accepted as the final tag team to participate in the history-making championship bout.

Get your tickets for the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in Houston’s Toyota Center at www.HoustonToyotaCenter.com.

It was extremely fitting that the announcement was made by The Goddess of WWE, as Bliss won the first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber Match in 2018, toppling five other Superstars and successfully defending the Raw Women’s Championship inside the career-altering combat zone that debuted in 2002.

This time around, two teams will start the bout while the remaining four duos remain enclosed in pods. At specified intervals, a pod will open at random, enabling a new team to enter the match. This will continue until all six pairs have joined the bout. If one member of a team gets eliminated at any time via pinfall or submission, both members of the team are eliminated and must leave the contest. The last tag team standing will be declared the winner and the first-ever Women’s Tag Teams Champions.

Who will make history? Find out at WWE Elimination Chamber, Sunday, Feb. 17, streaming live at 7 ET/4 PT on WWE Network!

We see a video package looking at Mandy Rose’s interaction with Jey Uso and brawl with Naomi last week. A narrator says there will be an eruption of emotions in this match, and that’s up next.

Naomi vs. Mandy Rose
Sonya Deville is at ringside in Mandy’s corner. Before the bell, Naomi charges Mandy on the ramp and brawls with her at ringside. They finally get in the ring and the ref calls for the opening bell. Naomi drops Mandy again, and Mandy rolls outside for a breather. Back in the ring, Mandy starts to fight back, but Naomi shuts her down with a kick and a Sling Blade. Mandy finally mounts some offense and hits a series of strikes in the corner. Naomi comes back with more kicks and a headscissor takedown. Sonya Deville distracts Naomi from ringside, which leads to Mandy slamming Naomi face-first into the ring post for the three count.

Winner: Mandy Rose

After the match, Jimmy Uso comes out and helps Naomi to her feet.

Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose are backstage talking about her letter to The Usos. Mandy talks about how she can’t stand Naomi, so she’s going to try to break up their marriage. Sonya tries to talk her out of it, but Mandy walks off.

The broadcast team shows us a replay of Jimmy Uso receiving his note from Mandy Rose. We cut to Uso walking through a hallway and pulling out the room key Mandy Rose included in her note, and we go to commercial. Back from the break, Uso knocks the door, then walks in. Mandy Rose is sitting in the room wearing a robe, and she tells Jimmy to come over. Mandy tells him to stop playing hard to get, then she takes her off robe to show a revealing outfit underneath. Uso says they can’t do this, and she needs to stop. A photographer then runs in and takes some photos, then Mandy says she never really wanted him and this is about Naomi. Mandy says Naomi will never be as hot as her and everyone knows it. Uso leaves, then Naomi walks in and attacks Mandy. They fight on to the bed and the TV.
